May Sweet May

It’s May. TEA’s birthday.

Two years of The English Affair. It’s hard to believe, as time went by really fast, so much so that we hardly noticed. Lost amongst tea and chats and tea sessions and personal plans and tea packs and more chats, so many good things came around to enrich our experience, that we feel it was all num piscar de olhos, that is, “in the blink of an eye”.

We didn’t notice time going by due to new challenges as well. We felt the need for rethinking our Affair, which became a more mature concept and asked for a suitable image to go with. And so we did it.

For the 12 months that follow, the challenge is simple (as our nature demands): we intend to consolidate what we already have, while respecting what we are and getting to reach more and more people. So it be.

É Maio, o TEA faz anos.

Dois anos de The English Affair. Até é difícil de acreditar, pois passaram a correr, tão a correr que nem sentimos. Entre chás e conversas e tea sessions e personal plans e tea packs e mais conversas, tanta coisa boa foi enriquecendo a nossa experiência, que parece que foi tudo in the blink of an eye, que é como quem diz, “num piscar de olhos”.

Não vimos o tempo passar porque estivemos também atarefados com novos desafios. Sentimos a necessidade de repensar o nosso Affair, que ganhou uma forma mais madura, e pediu uma imagem a condizer. Assim o fizemos.

Para os próximos 12 meses, o desafio é simples (como, aliás, é a nossa natureza): queremos consolidar o que já construímos, mantendo a nossa essência informal, mas chegando a cada vez mais pessoas. Que assim o façamos.
